DESCRIPCION:
The Dyna400 Active UTP hub can convert your twinaxial “daisy-chain” wiring system into a more practical and flexible star-wired configuration using UTP cabling. The Dyna400 hub has both twisted-pair and twinax host connections for flexibility. Twisted-pair has the same fast response time and reliability as twinax, but without the high cost and limitations of daisy-chain wiring. Each host supports up to 7 terminals and features both terminal and host activity monitoring. The design permits each terminal device to be connected up to 4,000 ft. from the host using UTP cable. A workstation or terminal may be unplugged without bringing down the entire network.
